Citizen Charter of the Cooperative Department
The Department of Cooperatives under the Department of Rural Development and Cooperatives of Bangladesh is formulating an up-to-date Citizen's Charter to meet the current objective of ensuring service to the masses.
According to the Citizen's Charter, the general public receives the following benefits from the Cooperative Department.
Registration and amendment of by-laws
 Registration of primary co-operative societies consisting of at least 20 (twenty) single persons is provided for the legal development of their socio-economic status.
সময় At the time of registration of co-operative societies, by-laws containing specific provisions for the management of co-operative societies are registered and later amendments to the by-laws are registered if necessary.

Management, audit, inspection, dispute resolution and termination
The management of that association is governed by a democratically elected committee. If a co-operative society fails to elect in time, the district co-operative officer appoints an interim management committee under the law.
বার Annual audit of the management and financial activities of the primary association is carried out by any employee or person empowered by the District Cooperative Officer.

If any dispute, including the election of the primary committee, is lodged with the District Cooperative Officer, he or the appointed arbitrator shall deliver the judgment within the stipulated time with due process of justice, equality and discretion. If anyone is aggrieved by the verdict, he can appeal to the Deputy Registrar (Justice) of the Divisional Cooperative Department. A court of 100 (one hundred) rupees has to be attached with the dispute and appeal.
